Nancy Jane (Ginnie) was born on May 29th, 1886 in Norfolk, Franklin Co., Virginia.1 Nancy Jane (Ginnie)'s father was Jonathan Reed Basham and her mother was Nancy Jane Jenkins. Her paternal grandparents were Millender Basham and Chelnessee Payne. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Daniel Dave, Nathan Garfield, John William (Will), James Harvey, Charles Moman, Ezra Powell, Octavy F., Mary Alice and Sallie B..
