Mittie May Basham 
Mittie May was born on November 4th, 1894 in Hill Co., Texas.1 Mittie May's father was George Jasper Basham and her mother was Emily Belle Watson. Her paternal grandparents were James Hogan Basham and Lucillian 'Lucsey' Unknown. She had four brothers and eight sisters, named George Knox (Bud), Finis Ewing, Raymond, Audra, Rosa, Pearl, Lottie Belle, Della Lucy, Hazel, Ruby, Thelma and Jewell. She was the fifth oldest of the thirteen children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named James David and Teresa Ann. She died at the age of 83 on April 2nd, 1978 in Whitney, Hill Co., Texas.1 General Notes
