Milton Thomas was born on September 29th, 1909 in Cass Co., Indiana.1 Milton Thomas' father was William Thomas (Tom) Basham and his mother was Nellie Grant Conrad. His paternal grandparents were Callahill M. (Calvin) Basham and Ludelphia Bethina (Bethyl) Creasy; his maternal grandparents are Unknown Conrad and Wife Unknown. He had three brothers and a sister, named Charles Ralph, Stewart Edward, Clarence Atwood (Cy) and William Leroy (Roy). He was the second youngest of the five children.
