Matilda Basham 
Matilda was born in 1827 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.1 Matilda's father was Littleberry Basham and her mother was Mary (Polly) Basham. Her paternal grandparents were Bartlett Angel, Jr. Basham and Nancy Susan Farmer; her maternal grandparents were William Basham and Sarah Sally Shrewsbury. She had five brothers named William Harrison, Manoah Stone, Cary Jackson 'Jack', Barnett A. and Henry Blades. She was the third youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 72 in 1899 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
