Mary Tabitha Basham 
Mary Tabitha was born on December 15th, 1897 in Evant, Coryell Co., Texas.1 Mary Tabitha's father was James Fudge Basham and her mother was Nancy Elizabeth Roberts. Her paternal grandparents were Coffey Jones Basham and Julia Ann Waggoner; her maternal grandparents were Travis Roberts and Mary Ann Birtrong. She had two brothers and five sisters, named James Coffey, Infant, Rose Ella, May Alma, Viola Samantha, Velma Harriet and Julia Opal. She was the oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 83 on June 15th, 1981 in Gatesville, Coryell Co., Texas.1 General Notes
