Mahala Basham 
Mahala was born about 1818.1 Mahala's father was Nathan, Sr. Basham and her mother is Mary Lewis. Her paternal grandparents were James Basham and Frances (Mary) Taylor. She had a brother and four sisters, named Nathan (Rev), Leah, Mary 'Polly', Nancy and Ruhamah Paulina. She is the third oldest of the six children.General Notes
