Luther D. (Seth) Basham 
Luther D. (Seth) was born about 1846 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.1 Luther D. (Seth)'s father was Allen Dowell Basham and his mother was Malinda DALTON. His paternal grandparents were Obediah Basham and Celia Dowell. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named William Francis, Micajah, Daniel James, Henry Dalton, Allen Dowell II, Robert Houston, Samuel Logan, Mary B. and Paulina Ellen. He was the third youngest of the ten children. He had four half-brothers named George Washington, Joseph Dempsey, Thomas McClellan (Tom) and Barksdale P.. He died after 1870 in Ohio Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
