Leah Basham 
Leah was born in 1812 in Virginia.1 Leah's father was Nathan, Sr. Basham and her mother is Mary Lewis. Her paternal grandparents were James Basham and Frances (Mary) Taylor. She had a brother and four sisters, named Nathan (Rev), Mary 'Polly', Mahala, Nancy and Ruhamah Paulina. She was the oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 74 on June 6th, 1886 in Boone Co., West Virginia.1 General Notes
