Kathryn was born on April 2nd, 1923 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.1 Kathryn's father was Alzo Washington Basham and her mother was Zora Philpott. Her paternal grandparents were Manoah Washington Basham and Willie Rosetta Tucker. She had two brothers and two sisters, named John Robert, Living, Helen and Living.
