Julia Opal Basham 
Julia Opal was born on November 2nd, 1912 in Purmela, Coryell Co., Texas.1 Julia Opal's father was James Fudge Basham and her mother was Nancy Elizabeth Roberts. Her paternal grandparents were Coffey Jones Basham and Julia Ann Waggoner; her maternal grandparents were Travis Roberts and Mary Ann Birtrong. She had two brothers and five sisters, named James Coffey, Infant, Mary Tabitha, Rose Ella, May Alma, Viola Samantha and Velma Harriet. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 69 on August 4th, 1982 in Waco, McLennan Co., Texas.1 General Notes
