John William Basham 
John William was born on March 13th, 1882 in Mercer Co., West Virginia.1 John William's father was Henry Wesley Basham and his mother was Louisiana D Crews. His paternal grandparents were John Henry Basham and Martha Goodall. He had two brothers named Lenza and Nelson. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 85 on February 23rd, 1968 in Beckley, Raleigh Co., W Virginia.1 General Notes
