John Lee Basham 
John Lee was born on August 19th, 1879 in Hood Co., Texas.1 John Lee's father was James Elisa Basham and his mother was Nancy E. Stacks. His paternal grandparents were James A. Bassham and Sarah C. Blanton. He had five sisters named Mary Etta, Armetta (Mattie), Dovie J., Ida Pearl and Emily Jewel. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 73 on April 3rd, 1953 in Sayre, Oklahoma.1 General Notes
