John Henry Basham 
John Henry was born on June 24th, 1923 in Texas.1 John Henry's father was Henry M. Basham and his mother was Ada B. (Silva) Pender. His paternal grandparents were Harry Reed (Harvey) Basham and Sarah Belue. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Elmer S., Henry M., Jr., Cora, Carrie and Ada B.. He was the youngest of the six children. He had four half-brothers named James Reuben, Edward, Robert Winston and Alton. He died at the age of 36 on April 24th, 1960 in Mexia, Limestone Co., Texas.1 General Notes
