James Everett, Sr. was born on November 15th, 1883 in Lee's Summit, Jackson, Missouri.1 James Everett, Sr.'s father was Henry R. Basham and his mother was Sarah L. Moore. His paternal grandparents were Isaac V. Basham and Angeline Rucker; his maternal grandparents were James N. Moore and Angelina P. Unknown. He had a brother and two sisters, named Luther, Clara and Maude Rette. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 55 on January 3rd, 1939 in Denver Colorado.1 General Notes
