George R. Basham 
George R. was born about August 1862 in Kentucky.1 George R.'s father was John J. Basham and his mother was Winsley A. (Winny) Rust. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Vercella, Crittendon G., Frances Cordelia, Rhoda Jane, Mary A., Martha and Vona D.. He was the second youngest of the eight children.
