Francis Logan Basham 
Francis Logan was born on January 1st, 1833 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.1 Francis Logan's father was Henry Dowell Basham and his mother was Cassandra Hardin. His paternal grandparents were Obediah Basham and Celia Dowell; his maternal grandparents were Daniel Hardin and Alice (Alsey) Jolly. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Thomas Washington, Daniel Hardin, James Allen, Henry Nelson, Obediah Peyton, Joel Hardin, Madison, Alice Jolly, Celia Dowell, Martha Ann (Mattie), Mary and Louisa Ellen. He was the second oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 25 on September 20th, 1858 in Lodiburg, Breckenridge Co., Ky.1 General Notes
