Florence Clemmie was born on January 27th, 1879 in Alabama.1 Florence Clemmie's father was George Washington Basham and her mother was Julia A. Verner. Her paternal grandparents were Jonathan Basham and Elizabeth Hogan. She had two brothers named William Robert (Rob) and George Verner. She was the second oldest of the three children. She had four half-brothers named Laura (Lizzie J), Wylie Fuller, Eliza H. and Mariah Bell. She died at the age of 33 on November 5th, 1912.1 General Notes
