Finis Ewing Basham 
Finis Ewing was born on June 10th, 1905 in Hill Co., Texas.1 Finis Ewing's father was George Jasper Basham and his mother was Emily Belle Watson. His paternal grandparents were James Hogan Basham and Lucillian 'Lucsey' Unknown. He had three brothers and nine sisters, named George Knox (Bud), Raymond, Audra, Rosa, Pearl, Lottie Belle, Della Lucy, Mittie May, Hazel, Ruby, Thelma and Jewell. He was the fourth youngest of the thirteen children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named James David and Teresa Ann. He died at the age of 73 on February 23rd, 1979 in Whitney, Hill Co., Texas.1 General Notes
