Erastus Finley Basham 
Erastus Finley was born on January 13th, 1868 in Fordsville, Ohio Co., Kentucky.1 Erastus Finley's father was Eli Houston Basham and his mother was Nancy Melvina Fitzeleanor McCoy. His paternal grandparents were James Herrod Basham and Polly Ann Arms. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named David Houston, James Gideon, Albert Alford, Ellard Randell, Atticas Inlap, Burnice Festus, Garfield Ollie, Vizella Ellen, Mehitabel Enfield, Charity Marguerite and Opal Effie. He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 82 on December 11th, 1950 in San Gabriel, Los Angeles Co., Cal.1 General Notes
