Elmer S. Basham 
Elmer S. was born on March 1st, 1913 in Texas.1 Elmer S.'s father was Henry M. Basham and his mother was Ada B. (Silva) Pender. His paternal grandparents were Harry Reed (Harvey) Basham and Sarah Belue. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Henry M., Jr., John Henry, Cora, Carrie and Ada B.. He was the third youngest of the six children. He had four half-brothers named James Reuben, Edward, Robert Winston and Alton. He died at the age of 80 on April 3rd, 1993 in Angelina Co., Texas.1 General Notes
