Eliza Ellen Eveline was born on April 20th, 1863 in Kingston, Madison Co., Arkansas.1 Eliza Ellen Eveline's father was John Bassham and her mother was Elizabeth Roper. Her paternal grandparents were John Basham and Elizabeth Finley. She had three brothers and two sisters, named John William, Joseph E., Thomas G. W., Malissa Jane and Josephine Elizabeth.
