Charles Ralph was born on July 5th, 1904 in Logansport, Cass Co., Indiana.1 Charles Ralph's father was William Thomas (Tom) Basham and his mother was Nellie Grant Conrad. His paternal grandparents were Callahill M. (Calvin) Basham and Ludelphia Bethina (Bethyl) Creasy; his maternal grandparents are Unknown Conrad and Wife Unknown. He had three brothers and a sister, named Stewart Edward, Milton Thomas, Clarence Atwood (Cy) and William Leroy (Roy). He was the second oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 59 on December 28th, 1963 in South Bend, St Joseph Co., Indiana.1 General Notes
