Casper Hosper (Cap) was born on March 12th, 1891 in Garnettsville, Meade Co., Kentucky.1 Casper Hosper (Cap)'s father was James William Taylor Basham and his mother was Josie Ella Allen. His paternal grandparents were William Harrison Basham and Cynthia Amanda Seeley; his maternal grandfather was Riley Allen and his maternal grandmother is Matilda Jane Allen. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Henry Harrison, Alfred Reilly (A R), Alexander Mathaniel, William Theodore (Bud), Dela Cecil and Minnie A.. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 81 on January 8th, 1973 in Youngtown, Maricopa Co., Arizona.1 General Notes
