Arling Lee was born on January 28th, 1929.1 Arling Lee's father was Robert Winston Basham and her mother is Zadie Lorean Nix. Her paternal grandparents were Henry M. Basham and Ida Lou Bell. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named Charlie Thomas, Horace Benjamin, Charles Hubert, Living, Living, Living, Living, Living, Living, Living and Living. She died at the age of 49 on March 5th, 1978 in Hamilton, Monroe Co., Mississippi. She was buried in Center Hill Cem., Hamilton, Monroe Co., Mississippi.1 1 General Notes
