Alfred Reilly (A R) was born on June 20th, 1886 in Meade Co., Kentucky.1 Alfred Reilly (A R)'s father was James William Taylor Basham and his mother was Josie Ella Allen. His paternal grandparents were William Harrison Basham and Cynthia Amanda Seeley; his maternal grandfather was Riley Allen and his maternal grandmother is Matilda Jane Allen. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Henry Harrison, Casper Hosper (Cap), Alexander Mathaniel, William Theodore (Bud), Dela Cecil and Minnie A.. He was the second oldest of the seven children.
