Martha Imogene Barr 
Martha Imogene was born on June 6th, 1901 in Browns Valley, Kentucky.1 Martha Imogene's father was George Roland, Jr. Barr and her mother was Ellen McDellan Knott. Her paternal grandparents are George Roland, Sr. Barr and Martha Hayden; her maternal grandparents were Frederick Martin Knott and Sarah Jane (Jennie) Payne. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named Joseph Martin Barr, William Garrett, Sr., George Roland III, Martin Raphael, Robert Aloysius, Charles Hilary, Denis Anthony, Genevieve, Mary Ethel, Mary Alma, Virginia "Jennie Mae" Mary and Theresa Margaret. She was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 79 on July 20th, 1980. She was buried in St. Anthony's Catholic Cem., Browns Valley, Daviess Co., Kentucky.1 1 General Notes
