Denis Anthony Barr 
Denis Anthony was born on July 7th, 1921 in Daviess Co., Kentucky.1 Denis Anthony's father was George Roland, Jr. Barr and his mother was Ellen McDellan Knott. His paternal grandparents are George Roland, Sr. Barr and Martha Hayden; his maternal grandparents were Frederick Martin Knott and Sarah Jane (Jennie) Payne. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Joseph Martin Barr, William Garrett, Sr., George Roland III, Martin Raphael, Robert Aloysius, Charles Hilary, Genevieve, Martha Imogene, Mary Ethel, Mary Alma, Virginia "Jennie Mae" Mary and Theresa Margaret. He was the youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 54 on March 15th, 1976 in Winchester, NH. He was buried in Portland, Maine.1 1 General Notes
