Lawrence Barnes 
Lawrence was born on June 16th, 1902 in Tyler Co. Texas.1 Lawrence's father is Samuel W. Barnes and his mother was Matilda Demarious Platt. His maternal grandfather is Rasamus Platt and his maternal grandmother was Nancy A. D. Graham. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Valmer, Travis A., Robert, Lola and Essie Mae. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 82 on July 4th, 1984 in Longview, Texas. He was buried in Garden of Memory , Angelina Co., Texas.1 1 General Notes
