Maria Louisa Bacot 
Maria Louisa was born on November 12th, 1823.1 Maria Louisa's father was Samuel Bacot and her mother was Emelie Leslie. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Bacot and Sarah Margaret Allston. She had four brothers and four sisters, named William Samuel, Peter Allston, Thomas W. M., John, Emily Ann, Elizabeth Eugenia, Caroline Augusta and Laura Selena Leslie. She is the fourth oldest of the nine children. She had a half-brother and five half-sisters, named Noah, Mary, Marcey Ann, Hannah S., Leah Elizabeth and Sarah Allston.-
