John Baptist, Jr. Alvey

John Baptist, Jr. was born on December 23rd, 1824 in Perry Co., Indiana.¹   John Baptist, Jr.'s father was John Baptist, Sr. Alvey and his mother is Mary Lake.  His paternal grandparents are Thomas Green, Sr. Alvey and Monica Unknown. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Aaron, George, Infant, Infant, Monica Ann, Mary Ann, Nancy Jane, Susannah and Henrietta.  He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 93 on January 28th, 1918 in Dubois Co., Indiana.¹ 

‌John Baptist, Jr. and Ellen were married in a religious ceremony on April 28th, 1847.¹
