Sheldon C. Allen 
Sheldon C. was born in 1913 in Indian Gap, Texas, Hamilton Co. Texas.1 Sheldon C.'s father was Martin Travis Allen and his mother was Lillian Janice Giles. His paternal grandparents were William Barrett Travis Allen and Mary Elizabeth Snider; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Milton Giles and Margaret Clementine McCowen. He had a brother and four sisters, named Spurgeon, Thelma Elizabeth, Floy, Doris Eugenia and Janice Waldene. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 71 on December 7th, 1984 in HIDALGO.1 General Notes
