Joseph Henry was born on October 11th, 1866 in Fincastle, Texas.1 Joseph Henry's father was Thomas Price Allen and his mother was Elizabeth Jane Perkins. His paternal grandparents were John Calhoun Allen and Mary Ann Holcombe. He had a brother and two sisters, named William Lamar, Catherine and Susan. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 89 on July 28th, 1956 in Potersville, Tulane Co., Califorina.1 General Notes
