Floy Allen 
Floy was born in 1918 in Indian Gap, Texas, Hamilton Co. Texas.1 Floy's father was Martin Travis Allen and her mother was Lillian Janice Giles. Her paternal grandparents were William Barrett Travis Allen and Mary Elizabeth Snider; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Milton Giles and Margaret Clementine McCowen. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Spurgeon, Sheldon C., Thelma Elizabeth, Doris Eugenia and Janice Waldene. She was the third youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 72 on November 24th, 1990 in Laporte , Texas.1 General Notes
