German now deceased his widow in possession. Another part thereof he sold 100
acres to John Roberts, the said John sold the same to John Morgan who has it in

!DEED: John ap Evan or John Evans Sr. received his right to 350 acres by deed
of July 19, 1682 witnessed by Edward Jones, Thomas Davies, David Jones, Richard
Jones and David Morris. He located his land in Radnor Twp. On resurvey it
amounted to only 300 acres and surveyed again and came out to 250 acres and he
had to buy an overplus 25 acres. By deed Apr 4, 1688, Evans conveyed 100 acres
to John German whose relict Margaret Jermain held it. On survey it made out to
be 42 acres over which her son John paid for at a noble an acre. p. 226 Welsh

!DEED: John Evans sold 100 acres to John Robert of Haverford, smith adjoining
German, on the north. John Robert sold by deed of 1mo 9, 1699/1700 sold same
land to John Morgan, who also had 100 acres more of John Evans' land. In 12mo.
1701, the land commissioners supposed John Evans had 2,200 acres in Radnor.

Mentioned in Welsh Families of Pennsylvania by Thomas Allen Glenn 1970 edition, tracing John Evans family back through
Wales and royalty. This same lineage is quoted in Royal Descents of 500 Immigrants by Gary Roberts.

Lewis removed to Radnor, PA 1682-3. Freeholder of 350 acres.
p. 56 of Passengers and ships of Penn's Colony Vol. 1. John Evans and David
Kinsey both from the parish of Nantmel in Radnorshire bought certificates from
Bristol also dated 26 6mo 1682. They bought part of Richard Davies land in the
Welsh tract before leaving England. It appears that they both sailed on the Bristol Factor
The Welcome Society of Pennsylvania states that John Evans descendents may join their society since John Evans came on the Bristol Factor from Bristol between 26 July - 26 Aug 1682 (loading dates) and arrived in DE on the last week of Oct 1682. David Kinsey and John appear to have boarded on the very last day.
