A twin Aaron married Hannah Sarah sister.
Simon was Lt in the NC Dr agoon Regiment under Co James Thaxton and under
Col Dudley's NC regiment.  in 1836 he applied for a Rev pension and was
granted under file @@32008 (Ibid)
He enlisted in Revolutionary army from Chatham Co., NC

Placed on Pension Roll of Franklin Co., Ga., 1836 for se rvice as Dragoon,
NC Militia. March  1775, Sarah Thompson, (his twin brother Aaron Terrell,
Rev Sol of NC., died., SC married Ann Thompson sister of Sarah ) Children
(known) 1. William, b 1784; d 1827, mae Sarah Kendrick. 2. Thompso n mar.,
Miss Baker; 3. Hannah, mar James Allen; 4. Timothy, b 1777, mar Mary
(Polly) Davis. 5. Elizabeth, mar  Martin;  6. Amelia mar Thomas

He was allowed pension on his application executed 4-6-1836, while
residin g in Franklin Co., GA, where he stated he had lived for the past
40 years. Pr ior to that time , he had lived in Pendleton District, SC.
The provisions of the pension were @@29016 per year beginning the 4th of
March 1831.  A final p ayment of $14.58 was paid on the 12th of September
1837. Simon's Attorney was William Morel.
