Emmitt Pickins was born on April 5th, 1915 in Montgomery, Alabama.1   He died at the age of 52 on May 9th, 1967 in Barboursville, Cabell Co., West Virginia.  He was buried in Oaklawn Cemetery, Huntington, Cabell County, West Virginia.1 1
