Dora was born in March 1832 in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana.1 He died at the age of 82 on May 16th, 1914 in Bordelonville, Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana. He was buried in St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Bordelonville, Louisiana.1 1 General Notes

Burial # 121 with Father Bernard Regis presiding over the funeral. W as 81 at the time of death.
Dora and Elmire were married in a religious ceremony on November 7th, 1867 in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana.1

Married by Father Theodore Auguste Rebours of St. Paul's in Mansura, Louis iana. Witnesses: N. T. Wallis, V. Moreau. D. J. Moreau. Elmire was t he widow of Evariste Rabalais, and Dora was the widower of Elisa Ducote.
This was the second marriage for Elmire Bordelon, and the third marriage f or Dora Guillot.
The 1870 Census shows this couple with 4 children at home. Amanda & Cecil la were from Dora's second marriage. Robert & Louisa were from this marri age. Also living with them was the widower, Hypolite Ducote and his 9 chi ldren.
