Him and his wife were born in one of the Palatinate villages on the Upper
Rhine River Plain, South of Heidelberg.
Records seem to indicate they were banished from the Palatinate during the
Thirty Years War (1618-1648), and they resided during this period at
Mulhouse.
Children:

2. Hans Jacob bapt. 10 Feb 1633 He settled in the village of Steinsfurt
in
the county of Heidelberg, state of Baden. He married on 19 Apr 1653 to
Barbara Heusser of Sinsheim. They had 7 children. From 1662-1668 he was
a
Reformed schoolmaster at Steisfurt.
