Joseph Davis 
Joseph was born about 1835 in Virginia.1 He had two brothers and a sister, named George, William S. and Mary. He is the youngest of the four children.
‌Joseph and Nancy were married in a religious ceremony before 1854.1 They had two sons and a daughter, named James, William and Rebecca.
