John Swearingen 
John was born in 1696 in Somerset County, Maryland.1 John's father was Thomas Swearingen and his mother is Jane Hyde Doyne. His paternal grandparents were Garret Van Swearngin and Barbara De Barrette; his maternal grandparents are Robert Doyne and Ann Buford. He had three brothers named Thomas, Van and Samuel. He died at the age of 71 in 1767 in Montgomery County, Maryland.1 General Notes
