Joseph Mullins. William Mullins was one of the famedP ilgrims who
sailed from Plymouth, England, to Plymouth, Massachusetts, on the M
ayflower in 1620. The Pilgrims were seeking separation from the Church
of En gland. Of the 103 passengers on the Mayflower, half died during
the brutal w inter of 1620-21. William was one of the unfortunates,
dyingin February, 16 21, and his wife, Alice, also succomed in March,
1621. His daughter, Priscilla , survived, and lived to the ripe age of
