Sarah Mc Amis 
Sarah was born on March 13th, 1834. She was an only child. She died at the age of 59 on August 21st, 1893. She was buried in Bailey Cemetery, Greene Co, TN.
Sarah and Gilbert Newton were married in a religious ceremony in September 1854. They had seven sons and three daughters, named Thomas Y, Gilbert Newton, Benson M, John V, B K, James A, Rufus K, Ella C, Martha I and Mary H "Mollie".
