William Howes King 
William Howes was born on February 8th, 1793 in Giles Co., Virginia. William Howes' father was CHARLES WOODLEY KING and his mother is Rebecca BESS. His paternal grandfather was Charles King and his paternal grandmother is Mary James. He had three brothers and a sister, named John H, WILLIAM HOWES, UNKNOWN and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the five children. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named William H., David, Joshua and Miss. He died at the age of 87 on February 28th, 1880 in Clay Co., VA.General Notes
