Joanna Rebecca was born on March 14th, 1856 in Woodbury, Cannon,TN. Joanna Rebecca's father was Samuel P Gannon and her mother was Sussanah C Stacy. Her paternal grandparents were George Gannon and Joanna Whitt; her maternal grandparents were William Stacy and Sarah HANES. She had seven brothers and a sister, named William Henry, George Newton, John C., Harry Andrew, Benjamin F, Samuel Murphy, James Perry and Sarah Elizabeth. She was the second youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 27 on October 22nd, 1883 in , Cannon, TN.-
