Harrison's father was John Fisher and his mother was Lucretia Harrison.  His paternal grandfather is William Fisher; his maternal grandfather is Rueben Harrison and his maternal grandmother was Mary Higginbotham. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Franklin, John, Albin, George, Rebecca, Mary Ann, Lucinda m, Rachel and America.
