The Joinville is an ancient French family that also produced at least onecrusader. One line started to spell the name as de Geneville and a memberof that branch (Joan) married Roger Mortimer, (the lover of QueenIsabella of England) and their descendants are all over the world.
Joan and Roger were married in a religious ceremony on October 6th, 1306.1
