Warenne was born on October 28th, 1779 in Fairhaven, Bristol, Ma. Warenne's father was Ephraim DELANO and his mother was Elizabeth CUSHMAN. His paternal grandfather was Thomas DELANO and his paternal grandmother is Jane PECKHAM; his maternal grandfather was James CUSHMAN and his maternal grandmother is Sarah HATCH. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Ephraim, Allerton, Thomas, Jabez, Allerton, UNKNOWN, Elizabeth, Hannah, Deborah, Sarah and Temperance. He was the second youngest of the twelve children.
