When Robert de Bruce VII murdered John Comyn at Grey Friars in Dundee he was outlawed by King Edward I who then gave Robert's lands to Robert de Clifford. The Clifford family held the title to the Manor and lands of Hart until 1580.
They had a son named Aymer.
