Obituary...Leonard George Cole, 894, Commerce, Okla died at 1:45 P.M. Thursday in Bradshaw Memorial hospital, Miami, Okla where he had been a patient for six days.
He was born April 21, 1889, at Calhoun, Henry County, Mo. and moved to Commerce 30 years ago form Picher, He had operated an Auto Salvage yards at Picher and Commerce.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Della Cole of the home;two sons Wayne Cole, Cardin, Okla and Bobby Cole, Fort Worth, Tex; two daughters Mrs Louise Norman, Commerce, Okla and Mrs Bea Smith, Fresno, Calif.; two sisters Mrs Elsie Waught, Oroville, Calif, and Mrs Katie Sellers, Picher, Okla, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday in the Paul Thomas funeral home chapel, Picher, Okla with the Rev. Roy Walker officiating.
Burial will in the Carterville, Mo. cemetery. Pall bears will be Bob Smith Earl Pickett, Frank McKinzie, Johnny Norman, Bussie Corbus and Ralph Delmont. The family will be at the Wayne Cole home, Cardin and at the funeral home chapel for 7 to 9 tonight.
