General L. Carney

General L. was born in March 1854 in ,Kanawha,W. Virginia.  General L.'s father was Andrew Jackson Carney and his mother is Malissa Rollins.  His paternal grandparents are William Carney and Margaret Bonnett. He had six brothers and three sisters, named James Irvin, William Allen, Henry Fry, George Buchannan, Benjamin E., Melton F., Mary M., Milline E. and Mary Virginia.  He was the fifth youngest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 1 on April 12th, 1855 in ,Kanawha,W. Virginia.
